Slip roll machines are used for rolling sheet metal into cylinders, curves and conical forms. The selection includes compact mini slip rolls for small workshops and hobby use, as well as heavier manual, electric and electro-hydraulic machines for professional sheet metal work.
Working widths range from around 305 mm to 1550 mm, and maximum sheet thickness ranges from light 0.8–1.0 mm material up to demanding 6.5 mm applications. This makes it easier to choose a machine based on the size of the workpiece, material thickness and how often the machine will be used.
Start with the maximum sheet width and thickness you need to roll. A compact 305–610 mm slip roller is easy to move and suits smaller parts, repairs and occasional forming work. For wider panels, a 1050–1300 mm machine gives more capacity and a sturdier frame.
For repeated production, thicker sheet metal or heavier workshop use, an electric or hydraulic slip roll can make work faster and more consistent. Powered models may include features such as foot control, digital readout, hydraulic adjustment and higher rolling capacity.
Manual slip rolls are simple, reliable and well suited to lighter sheet metal work. They are a practical choice when space is limited or when the work volume is moderate.
Electric slip rolls reduce manual effort and help maintain a steady rolling speed. They are useful when rolling longer pieces, repeated batches or thicker material. Electro-hydraulic machines are intended for more demanding professional use where capacity, control and repeatability matter.
Stable positioning improves both safety and accuracy. Selected models have dedicated stands available, which help set the machine at a comfortable working height and keep the slip roll steady during use.
For sheet metal projects, rolling is often only one stage of the job. Cutting, bending, beading, drilling, deburring and finishing may also be needed depending on the workpiece.
Machines are generally kept in stock, while a few top-tier professional models may be sold on request. Always check the individual product page for live stock status and model-specific details.
Shipments are sent from Finland, and in-stock products are normally delivered in 2–4 business days depending on destination. Skilled staff can help you compare capacity, machine type and accessories before purchase. NOVA service supports customers through the Seinäjoki store location.
