The RailMAB 965 is a specialized gasoline-powered drilling machine used in railway construction.
German BDS, involved in railway manufacturing, offers two new and completely redesigned “rail drilling machines”.
RailMAB 965 is a gasoline-powered magnetic drill. RailMAB 965 is a special-purpose drill used in railway construction, for example for drilling grounding screws, contact systems, and insulated joints. RailMAB 965 is equipped with a robust gasoline engine. Its output is 1.5 kW and its torque is 3.04 Nm. The machine can be easily attached to the rail with a quick-clamping system. To ensure the stability required for drilling, it has a clamping force of 1.2 tons in its jaws. The versatility of the optionally available “rail adapters” increases the drill’s flexibility and user-friendliness. These adapters automatically determine the height and distance for annular drilling or for drilling holes in the rail. The drills feature a BDS-specific “rail annular cutter” from the CarbideRAIL series, with a cutting depth of 30 mm and a diameter of 16 mm–36 mm.
Included:
5 l cutting fluid tank with hand pump
