BDS RailMAB 915 magnetic drill
Description
In railway track manufacturing, BDS offers two new and completely redesigned "railway drilling machines". The RailMAB 915 magnetic drilling machine (electric) manufactured in Germany with 1600 Watt engine and 2-stage oil bath gearbox and RailMAB 965 (fuel motor) magnetic drilling machine with fuel motor. RailMAB 915 and RailMAB 965 are special drilling machines used in the construction of railway tracks, such as drilling of grounding screws, contact systems and insulated joints. The RailMAB 965 is a drilling machine equipped with a robust petrol engine. Its performance reaches 1.5 kW at a torque of 3.04 Nm. Both drillmachines can easily be attached to the railways with a fast clamping system. To ensure the necessary stability in drilling, this carries a pressure of 1.2 tonnes on the railway track. The multitude of optionally available "rail adapters" increases the flexibility and user-friendliness of the two different drillmachines. These adapters automatically determine the height and distance of the core drilling or the hole to be made on the rail. The drills are complete with a BDS special "railway track-annular cutter" belonging to the CarbideRAIL series cutters, which has a cutting depth of 30 mm and a diameter of 16 mm to 36 mm.
