The NOVA 330H thickness planer is designed to deliver precise and efficient planing performance for demanding hobbyists as well as professional users. The new H-model combines high machining capacity, a compact design, and a modern helical cutter head that significantly improves planing quality compared to traditional straight-knife planers.

Precision and repeatability

The planer features a cutter head locking system that secures the cutter head firmly during operation. This prevents movement and helps achieve an exceptionally smooth and consistent surface finish.

A spring-loaded depth-of-cut gauge accurately displays the material removal per pass. As the height adjustment handle is turned, the indicator clearly shows the selected cutting depth, allowing precise setup and reducing adjustment errors.

The multi-position depth stop includes six preset positions for repeat planing at identical final thicknesses. Once a desired thickness — for example 25 mm — is selected, the machine will not plane below that setting, ensuring multiple boards are finished to exactly the same dimension.

The self-feeding mechanism with a feed speed of 7 m/min keeps material moving smoothly and simplifies working with longer pieces. Maximum workpiece height is 152 mm, while adjustable cutting depth allows both fine finishing and efficient stock removal.

Dual dust extraction ports (100 mm / 65 mm) provide efficient chip removal with different dust extraction systems, keeping the workspace clean. The compact construction and 37 kg weight provide stability during operation while remaining easy to position even in smaller workshops. Integrated side handles make moving the machine easier when needed.
